El Festival Internacional de Cine por la Memoria Democrática es una iniciativa de la Asociación Cultural Arte y Memoria, un colectivo social formado por profesionales de diferentes ámbitos y disciplinas culturales y artísticas: actores y actrices, cineastas, productores teatrales y cinematográficos, fotógrafos, guionistas, escritores, diseñadores… un colectivo que poco a poco va creciendo y cuya meta es preservar la memoria colectiva desde una perspectiva de justicia y solidaridad con las víctimas de las injusticias, de cualquier parte del mundo, a través de expresiones y herramientas que nos proporciona el cine, el teatro, la literatura, la pintura o cualquier otra disciplina artística.

The International Film Festival for Democratic Memory is an initiative of the Cultural Association Art and Memory, a social collective made up of professionals from different fields and cultural and artistic disciplines: actors and actresses, filmmakers, theater and film producers, photographers, screenwriters, writers, designers … a collective that is growing little by little and whose goal is to preserve collective memory from a perspective of justice and solidarity with the victims of injustices, from any part of the world, through expressions and tools that the cinema, theater, literature, painting or any other artistic discipline.
